Christmas is an incredibly special time for people all over the world, as we join together as family and friends and celebrate. For us as Christians it holds special significance as we celebrate the great hope that came to the world in the form of a precious baby.
As TVC Church, we are part of a network of Churches from across the North East, that all have the same heart – to extend God’s kingdom. This network is known as ‘Taking Ground’. A few years back, we launched ‘Taking Ground Music’, a collective of musicians from across our network. This Christmas, they release their second EP ‘God is Here; a collection of traditional carols plus an original track, with a vision to share some hope this Christmas.
Taking Ground Music have created with this EP with you in mind. They wanted to create a positive, upbeat soundtrack for Christmas that shares the hope of Jesus. It is available on all streaming and download services – let it be the soundtrack of your Christmas!
Taking Ground Music have also partnered with other churches and charities across the UK to see how their music can impact our wider community. They have partnered with local charity Junction 42, who work with those in prison and will be sending 5,000 CD’s to inmates this Christmas. Join us in praying that this music will touch the hearts and lives of those in prison this Christmas.
