Half term is just around the corner and with Jubilee celebrations happening up and down the country – we thought we would join in the fun!

If you have been to one of our half term events before, you will know that they are a lot of fun and are a great way to keep the kids entertained. As this half term also includes two bank holidays – things look a bit different, but do not fear – all the details are right here!

So what’s the plan?

From Monday to Wednesday, 11am – 12pm, we are offering a variety of royal activities. From making Jubilee beacons and Union Jack cupcakes, to decorating crowns and toasting marshmallows, there’s something to keep all of your little ones interested.

Each bookable session costs £2, lasts 1 hour.

There are different activities each day and all take place at The Oakwood Centre in Eaglescliffe.

Sessions are open to primary school aged children.  Although we require you to supervise the children you bring, all activities will be led and managed by our team.

Why don’t you and your little one get into the spirit by wearing your best red, white or blue attire?

Mon 30 May         Make a Jubilee Beacon
With Jubilee beacons being lit throughout the UK on Thursday 2 June, why don’t you come and make a beacon for your home?
If the weather permits, we’ll also toast marshmallows over our fire pit beacon!

Each day, we will also take a moment to pray for the Queen as she celebrates her 70-year reign and give thanks to Jesus who is the King of Kings and the one in whom the Queen puts her faith! You might also want to add a prayer to our Jubilee bunting!

Our Coffee Shop will be closed during half term which means that we will be able to use the Coffee Shop area for our activities but we will not be able to order lunch. However we will provide hot and cold drinks and a selection of biscuits for both children and the adults they bring and this is included in the £2 session fee.

Spaces are limited and we imagine that they will go quickly so please book in today to avoid disappointment!
