We are a multi-generational church.
Seniors are important and valuable to God and are a dynamic part of our church life. The Bible is positive about old age. It is seen as a time of harvest and growth:
‘They (the righteous) will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green’ – Psalm 92:14
As seniors we seek to serve the church family – to pray, encourage, share wisdom and experience and to develop our personal faith in Christ.
As seniors we seek to bring the Gospel message to older members of our community through care home visits, making friends, and through our witness to our own friends and family.
At TVC Church we have various groups aimed at those ‘Later in Life’
At TVC Church, our heart is that you would flourish in who you are and who you are called to be, regardless of your age. So this is time for you; to connect with friends again in a safe and welcoming environment, to be valued and cared for by our team.
Flourish takes place every Wednesday from 2pm till 3.30pm at The Oakwood Coffee Shop.
So come alone or bring a friend, everyone is welcome!
‘Good Company’ is a support group for those who are living with challenges around memory loss. Our dedicated team have undergone training with local dementia care in Stockton and are ready to welcome you to the Oakwood Coffee Shop on the second Thursday of each month, 13:30 – 15:00 to an environment that is safe, happy, welcoming and understanding.
