Lynda Dunkley explores Genesis 43, reminding us that even in desperate times, God is still at work. We may feel fear, but knowing God is with us helps turn fear into faith.
Joseph’s brothers saw only trouble – until they began to recognise God’s hand. What started in fear became a testimony of faith.
Joseph chose purpose over pain. He trusted God, forgave, and led with grace. We may feel unworthy or unseen, yet God calls us forward and fills us with peace.
So, where are you seeing the hand of man instead of the hand of God? Where are you living in fear rather than faith? And where are you relying on your own strength instead of God’s grace? God’s message is the same today as it was to Joseph’s brothers: ‘Don’t be afraid.’ He is with you. Look for His hand, trust Him, and let faith rise.
