Jacob had just found out his son Joseph was alive. He was old, leaving behind the land promised to his descendants, and stepping into the unknown. Yet he trusted God’s voice and obeyed.

When Jacob and his family arrived in Egypt, Pharaoh gave them the best part of the land. This is what God loves to do. He gives us his best, even if the path to get there looks nothing like we expected.

Whatever you are facing right now, remember that God is with you. Even when things feel uncertain or uncomfortable, he is leading you to something greater.
