In this final message in the Journeying in the Purposes of God series, Matt Biddlecombe looks at the story of Jacob which shows how God was working for good, even when things were unclear. Jacob leaves everything to follow God’s call to Egypt.

He doesn’t know what lies ahead, but he chooses to trust God. God tells him, ‘Do not be afraid. I will be with you.’

Jacob’s life shows us what it means to be changed, to trust, and to keep going with

God. God prepared a place for Jacob and his family in Goshen. He does the same for us. Goshen means ‘to draw near’, and that’s what God invites us to do.

If you’re feeling unsure or facing big questions, this message is for you. God is with you. He will provide and He will guide you. Let’s thank Him for all He has done, and trust Him with what’s ahead.
