Dear TVC Church

With the current escalation in the numbers of the Omicron Variant alongside the uncertainty around its impact, we have taken the decision to move our Christmas Day service online. While we are disappointed to be doing this, we believe it’s a step that ensures everyone’s safety in the run up to the New Year. It also gives us an important 2 week firebreak in our ‘in person’ services, which in turn will give us time to assess how the situation is developing nationally and regionally, towards the end of December. We will then be in a slightly more informed position to make some decisions as to how we best move forward in January.

We do trust you will gather with us online at 10:30am for a short service on Christmas Day. While we may not be able to greet each other in person, let’s meet online together and prioritise giving him the glory and praise that he deserves on this most important day in the Christian calendar.

Over the next few weeks, as we head towards 2022, let’s continue to confidently put our hope and trust in God. While the current changing situation may feel like ‘shifting sands’ let’s remember who remains our firm and constant foundation throughout.

Psalm 62:1-2

[1] My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. [2] He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

Psalm 61:2

[2] From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

With ongoing prayers and affection
