We’re excited to share another update on the Acorn Tees Valley Centre as we look ahead to opening in September.

You may remember hearing about this vision through the video shared earlier this year. Since then, plans have continued to move forward, and we’re so grateful for God’s provision and guidance every step of the way.

One of the most exciting updates is that we have now appointed our first staff members. We’re delighted to welcome Mark as head of centre and John as teacher. Both are members of TVC Church, and we can’t wait to see all that God will do through them as they help shape this new provision from the very beginning.

The centre will provide tailored education and support for young people aged 11 to 16 who are finding mainstream school difficult, helping them to thrive in learning and wellbeing while working closely with families, schools and the wider community.

With September getting closer, everything is starting to feel very real, and we’re full of expectation for what lies ahead.

Please continue to pray for the team, for strong relationships with schools and families, and most importantly for the young people who will come through the doors. Our prayer is that lives will be transformed and that many young people will experience hope, support and the love of Jesus.

We’d love to share more about the Acorn Tees Valley Centre. After both services on 21 and 28 June, members of the team will be on hand to share more about the vision, answer questions and chat about what’s ahead. There’s also an introduction evening taking place on 7 July so keep your eyes open for more details.
