How to Pray: A Simple Guide for Normal People by Pete Greig

Join us as we explore this simple and practical book by Pete Greig about prayer. It helps make prayer feel less complicated and overwhelming. With real stories and helpful guidance, it shows how anyone can learn to pray and connect with God in daily life. We’ll read one chapter each week and stay connected through a WhatsApp group. Starting the week of 8 November, every Friday you’ll be invited to share what’s on your heart and encourage one another as we grow in prayer together.

God’s Chosen Fast by Arthur Wallis

Journey with us as we explore how fasting can strengthen our prayer life and draw us closer to God. We will look at biblical examples and consider practical ways to fast with purpose and faith. We will read a chapter of the book every two weeks and put it into practice. We will then meet fortnightly on Zoom to reflect and support one another. This group is helpful for people who have never fasted, as well as for those who already practise this discipline but want to grow in it. We will start in the second week of January.
