As TVC Church, family is really important to us. We just love to meet young families and it is a real privilege to be part of your journey. We have many different mid-week activities that are for those with young children and we are glad to be able to introduce another one to you!
Cruisres, Crawlers and Cake is our new group for those who have babies who are just started to get on the move. This is a place where you and your baby can make friendships and explore early development together in a small setting with those who are at a similar stage of development.
What age is it for?
We haven’t set an age limit for this group because we know that all babies develop at a different pace, but once your baby is turning into a confident toddler, we will help you to move on into our other groups, so that this group stays for those who are just getting to grips with being mobile. What will the group be like?
We will hold the group in our under 5’s room, which is at the back of our sports hall. We will be purposefully keeping it a small setting where parents can connect with one another and babies can play and explore sensory items – but with just a little more space than our baby cakes group. There will be hot drinks and cake served up for parents, but please bring a your own drinks and snacks for babies (if they are ready for that).
Does this group replace Little Acorns?
No not at all! Little Acorns is our toddler group that has been running for 20 years. It is currently taking a break while we re-visit its purpose and build a new team, but Little Acorns will be back after October half term.
When does it start?
The group begins on Tuesday 12th September 2023 and will run every Tuesday, during term time from 10am till 11am. Please use the Coffee Shop entrance and somebody will direct you to the right place.
Cruisers, Crawlers and Cake is free and you don’t need to book – just turn up!
