Equip Training is returning, with more sessions across Pastoral Care, Safeguarding and Evangelism.

We want to keep investing in people across our church family and help everyone feel better equipped to serve, care for others and share their faith.

The training is for everyone, whether you are already serving, thinking about getting involved, or simply want to grow.

When and where

Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 September
7:30pm to 9pm
The Oakwood Centre

For each area, there are two options this year. If you missed last year’s training, start there. If you did last year’s training, move on to the next session and learn something new.

Our hope is that you attend one training session each term. You don’t need to do all six sessions.

To make space for Equip Training, our usual church activities and community groups will be paused during the training week, where possible, so that as many people as possible can take part.

Foundations of Pastoral Care
This is the Pastoral Care training we ran last year, now called Foundations of Pastoral Care. If you completed Pastoral Care last year, you don’t need to do it again. If you haven’t done it, this is the session to choose.

Maintaining Healthy Relationships
This is new for this year and is for anyone who has already completed Foundations of Pastoral Care, previously called Pastoral Care.

This is new for this year and is for anyone who has already completed Sharing Faith.

This is the Safeguarding training we ran last year, now called Safeguarding 101. If you completed Safeguarding last year, you don’t need to do it again. If you haven’t done it, this is the session to choose.

This is new for this year and is for anyone who has already completed Safeguarding 101, previously called Safeguarding.
