It is getting colder. The days are getting shorter and this weekend the clocks will go back! Finding something fun to do that doesn’t cost the earth (and when rain is forecast) can be quite a challenge when half term rolls around. And so, it was our pleasure to be able to welcome local families to our Coffee Shop this week, where they could enjoy a range of free activities in and around our toasty warm coffee shop.
From making scarecrows to exploring our Oakwood Garden and woods, fun was had by parents and children alike. We were thrilled to see so many of our Illuminate children joining us for the activities, as well as lots of faces from our local community, who were all met with a warm welcome from our Coffee Shop volunteers.
The Oakwood Coffee Shop is one of the many ways that we, as TVC Church, reach out to those around us. Keep an eye out for our weekly groups and other one off events, for different ages right here at The Oakwood Coffee shop – or drop by for a cuppa. It is always great to see you!
