Prayer Walk Day – rather than meeting in the church building for an in-person prayer meeting, we’re encouraging everyone to prayer walk where they live.
Jesus calls us to love not only those we know but also the communities where He has placed us. As we walk our streets and pray for our neighbours, we join God’s work in the places where we live. Every home, school, workplace and business matters to Him. Prayer helps us see our communities through God’s eyes and grows compassion within us.
Prayer: Lord, bless our neighbours and communities. Help us to see opportunities to serve, encourage and demonstrate Your love wherever You have placed us.
Beyond Measure – God’s Greatness
Listening to God for our communities – thank God for every street, neighbour, home and community He has entrusted to us and ask Him to show us how to pray for where we live.
The Power Within – Our Surrender
Growing compassion – ask God to give us His eyes for those around us and to grow compassion in our hearts.
All Generations – His Mission
Praying where people live – pray for blessing, peace, salvation and kingdom breakthrough where we live.
Activity: Family Prayer Walk

Ask children to notice: Homes, playgrounds, shops, schools.
Pause and pray short prayers as you walk.
Prayer: “Jesus, bless our neighbours and help us show Your love.”
Encouragement for parents: Children often notice things adults miss. Allow them to lead some of the prayers.
Don’t forget today’s opportunities to pray together:
