We love seeing people getting involved in church life, and we want to do all we can to support you as you serve, grow and live out your faith.
That’s why we’re running another week of Equip Training.
Many of you will have already completed some of the training, and this is a chance to come along to any sessions you have not yet done.
These weeks are all about investing in you and the whole church. They are designed to build your confidence, help you grow in key areas of church life, and ensure we are equipped to care well for one another and to share Jesus with others.
This training is for everyone, whether you’re already serving, exploring where you might get involved, or simply wanting to grow.
What’s involved?
This April, we are inviting every member of our church family to take part in any of the three core training sessions they have not yet completed:
Pastoral Care
Evangelism
Safeguarding (helping us create a safe and welcoming church for everyone)
You do not need to do them all at once. We have already run two rounds of this training, and this week offers another opportunity to attend at a time that works for you.
When’s it happening?
Our next Equip Training Week will take place from Tuesday, 21 April to Thursday, 23 April. Each session runs from 7:30 to 9pm.
To make space for this, we have once again asked all ministry leads and community group leaders to pause their usual activities that week, where possible, so we can focus on training and learning together as a whole church.
Planning ahead?
We have made it easy for you to see all upcoming session dates and book ahead. Please do sign up in advance using the ChurchSuite links below, so we know numbers. We’d love you to come and be part of it.

| Pastoral Learn how to care well for others by listening, encouraging, and walking with people through life with wisdom, kindness, and faith. | Thursday 23 April |
| Safeguarding This training is mandatory for all volunteers who require a DBS. However, because safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in the church, we’d really like to encourage all volunteers to take part. It helps us ensure our church remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone, especially children and vulnerable adults. | Tuesday 21 April |

Why are we doing this?
We believe everyone in our church has a part to play. Equip Training Weeks aren’t about ticking boxes or just doing the right thing – they’re about growing in the things that really matter.
This is a chance to be encouraged, learn together, and be better equipped to serve others and share the gospel in everyday life.
Thank you for all you give and all you do. We’re so grateful for your heart, your time, and your willingness to grow with us.
Let’s keep building together.
