We are all having to get used to life looking different for a while. Despite the uncertainty, we can be completely certain of the goodness and faithfulness of our God. Today, I am excited to announce a number of developments that we trust will help and strengthen our church family.

We plan to stream something live each Sunday morning at 10:30am, via our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/tvcchurch). This page should be visible to people without a Facebook account, although you won’t be able to comment etc.

This Sunday, Martin Dunkley will be preaching on ‘Finding God in a Time of Shaking’. There are downloadable resources for children and families to use which you can find at hope.tvcchurch.org.uk/sunday-resources

New Website
It is really important to us that we remain connected and cared for. To help us, we have produced a new website for this particular season. The website will be a ‘one-stop shop’ for church news, resources to support and strengthen your faith, practical guidance and much more. It’s early days and still developing so keep checking the website. New content will be added every week.

It’s live now and you can find it at hope.tvcchurch.org.uk

Self-Isolation & Pastoral Care
One of the features of the new website is a tool to notify us if you are needing to self-isolate. We would like everyone in the church to let us know if they are self-isolating, so that we can contact you, pray for you and make sure that you are practically supported.

To notify us, go the new website and click the big red button at top of the page!

Community Groups
We had a Community Group leaders video call on Wednesday evening during which we presented and discussed plans to adapt our Community Groups. We will communicate more about this early next week, once the leaders have had time to consider the practicalities for their groups. Be assured, groups will continue in some format and they will be good!

After a week that seems to have gone at 100 miles/hour, I am reflecting on some of the words of Jesus from John 14. He said to his disciples “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you… Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” With the help of the Holy Spirit we can receive his peace.
