Tees Valley Pregnancy Support Services can offer a range of services on all aspects of pregnancy care, free pregnancy testing, miscarriage and baby loss support, pre- and post-abortion counselling, and adoption. The service has had a positive impact on the lives of women who find themselves in situations that can be frightening.
Many women and their partners are faced with an unplanned pregnancy and difficult decisions about their future. Every day about 500 women and girls have an abortion, some of whom feel unprepared, under pressure from their circumstances or believe they have no other choice. Some women and men silently struggle with a past abortion experience, feeling isolated and hopeless.
Tees Valley Pregnancy Support Services aims to provide a secure, caring place that gives the clients an opportunity to give some serious thought to their options. They are able to make an informed choice based on facts and not fear, panic or pressure when facing a crisis pregnancy. We respect their decision and will support them whatever their choice.
For anyone who is struggling with unexpected emotions following an abortion we offer Post Abortion support using The Journey programme.
We also aim to support those who have experienced miscarriage or other baby loss.
