We’re really glad you found us. If you haven’t visited our site before, we’d like to let you know what we’re about and what you can expect if you visit Tees Valley Community Church.
We believe church is for everyone. It should be fun, exciting and relevant. We try to avoid religious tradition or other “baggage” that can so easily distract us from what church is truly about. We want to introduce people to the adventure that faith in Christ can bring, and then challenge and encourage them to live a life of significance. It’s that simple.
Hundreds of people meet here every Sunday, and we have ample parking at the building, including convenient disabled spaces . We start our meeting at 10.30am, but hot drinks and pastries are available free from 10:00 am. Come and have breakfast on us! Following the meeting we share tea and coffee and enjoy time with each other. We’d love to see you! Everyone is welcome!
The second Sunday of every month is our Guest Service, the perfect introduction to Church for those who don’t normally come.
We don’t care how you dress; casual is fine! Our worship style may not be what you would expect; it’s led by a band rather than an organ. Each service lasts for about one and a half hours but we don’t lock the doors so you can leave anytime you wish. Our aim is for church to feel like an open, extended family that’s constantly growing. We look forward to warmly welcoming you soon!.
We want all of your family to enjoy being at Tees Valley Community Church, and we have action-packed programmes for all ages of children. If you need help in finding your groups, visit the Information Point in our Marketplace, or see one of the stewards in a red jacket will be happy to direct you.
If you are new to Christianity, and would like to explore it more why not take part in an Alpha Course? Alpha is open to everyone interested in discovering what Christianity is all about. It’s a place where people can come and relax, eat, share thoughts and explore the meaning of life. It’s supported by all the main Christian denominations and over 2.8 million people in the UK, and 16 million worldwide, have already found it to be a worthwhile experience.
Have you already attended Tees Valley Community Church, or been coming to church for a while? Then please visit the Information Point after the service where you can meet with the welcome team and find out more.
