Helping our children fulfil their destiny in God
At Tees Valley Community Church children are an important part of our church family. Our desire is to see a generation of children who discover God for themselves. We want to partner with parents to encourage children to love God, to love church and to love others and to work together to equip our children to impact their world and fulfil their destiny in God. On Sunday mornings, we gather together as a whole church in our main auditorium for the first part of the morning. We worship together usually for about half an hour before children go to their dedicated groups, known as Kidspace. There are Kidspace groups for children aged 2-11. Children need to be registered for the groups. There is a registration desk in the entrance foyer of the church and if you are coming for the first time, please ask a steward to direct you.
In Kidspace on Sunday mornings, we aim to create an environment, where children can meet God in ways that are appropriate to their age and can learn stories from the Bible. Kidspace is led by our faithful and dedicated team of volunteers. All of whom are DBS checked and have received safeguarding children training.
For children from their 2nd birthday. Songs, Bible stories, play and craft time!
For children in Reception, Year One and Year Two at school. Join us as we learn about who God is and how we can get to know him.
For children in school years 3-6. Join us for fun games, stories, worship and much, much more!
Children under two
We have a dedicated area for children under two in the café during the service. The service is streamed into this area so that parents and carers can listen to the service while their children play.
