How much are we all missing gathering together!!

Well we have some great news for you. With the government easing restrictions we are now in the position to explore gathering together again for our Sunday services. We are planning to resume Sunday morning services at the Oakwood from the 13th September.
Obviously these services will look very different from normal. In order to ensure everyone’s safety and to comply with government guidelines there will be significant limitations and adjustments we have to make. Over the month of August we will be doing risk assessments and putting in place adequate processes and equipment to ensure your wellbeing and care is our top priority. We will let you have more details as these become clear to us.

We will continue, from the 13th September, to broadcast our services online on Sunday mornings as we have been doing. The plan is that these will be live streamed from the Oakwood. Meanwhile do book in for the ‘Big Meet Up’ on Saturday 29th August. Do also take every opportunity to connect with one another in your houses, gardens and parks but ensure you socially distance and comply with the current government request to limit that to two households or 6 people from different households (outdoors only). The figure of 30 people is allowed only if it involves a maximum of two bubbled households. Unfortunately in England those guidelines haven’t yet changed.

We continue to be encouraged at all that God is doing. People are being saved through online alpha (get people to sign up) new members are coming into the church and many unsaved people are connecting with churches, including ours, online.

Let’s continue to keep prayerful. We are walking with a God who works everything together for the good of those who love him and for the glory of his name. Even during this season of significant restrictions!!

With love and affection
Martin Dunkley (on behalf of the Elders at TVCC)
