I expect that many of our children have questions about Coronavirus even if they have just resulted from there being no service this Sunday. Over the coming weeks it looks like our normal routines will be restricted. Our children will inevitably have more questions and perhaps increased anxiety about the virus and its impact on our natural and church families. Kitchen Table Project, a new initiative from Care for the Family, has put together a really helpful guide to help us to talk to our children about the virus from a godly perspective. You can find their article at https://kitchentable.org.uk/talking-faith-at-home-coronavirus

Also check out Parenting for Faith’s Facebook Live Steam on Monday 16th March from 8pm. Here Rachel Turner will be speaking about how to help our children connect with God during this unusual season. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and chat with other parents. You can find the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/events/445516592851069. If you miss it on Monday, you will be able to hear Rachel’s talk etc on Facebook at a later stage. (If you are self isolating, you could use the time to check out some of her previous sessions too!!)

During this week, I am looking to bring together some resources which can be made available for families to share together especially while we have no Sunday meetings. If you already use resources that you find helpful, please send me any suggestions that you think other families would appreciate.
